The 5th Season of My Hero Academia will be starting late March 2021. It will cover the Joint Battle Training Arc from the manga, where Class 1A and 1B will be fighting it out as they learn more about their quirks and how to work together as a team.

Joran : The Princess of Snow and Blood will begin airing in April 2021 on Crunchyroll and looks to be a promising supernatural action anime.

“Set in alternate history Japan in 1931 and the 64th year of the Meiji era, the Tokugawa shogunate was never abolished and Emperor Meiji was never restored to power. The anime will follow the activities of “Nue,” an organization of shogunate executioners who enforce the government. The country has developed its own energy source, the “dragon vein,” and has achieved a unique development in which science and the Edo period are mixed.

However, behind the glamorous city, the dissident organization Kuchinawa strives to overthrow the administration, while the Nue of the Tokugawa regime, who was entrusted with its extermination, are in conflict. Sawa Yukimura, whose family was killed when she was young, continues to search for Janome, the executioner of the Nue.“

Upcoming anime Odd Taxi is slated to stream on Crunchyroll in April 2021, it features the daily lives of anthropomorphic characters that lead to a mystery!

“In a city which should be familiar, there is the feeling of something a little different.

Kotokawa is a taxi driver who lives an ordinary life, taxing some quirky customers around. A slightly eccentric stranger who has no relatives nor any relations with other people, Kotokawa’s hobby is to listen to Rakugo on the radio before going to bed. For the time being, the only people he can consider as friends are his family doctor Gouriki, and his high school classmate Kakihana.

Kabasawa, a college student who wants a buzz, Shirakawa, a nurse who’s hiding something, comedian group Homo Sapiens, who isn’t selling well, the city hoodlum Dobu, and the rookie idol group Mystery Kiss—the conversations with these people, which should not have meant much, lead to a girl who disappeared.“

If you need more magical girls in your life, then you’ll be delighted to hear that Healin’ Good Precure is getting a movie this year in continuation to the series! It will also cameo some characters from Yes! Precure 5.

As reported previously, Evangelion 3.0+1.0 was delayed this year, due to the covid pandemic. The movie has now gotten a new release date for Japanese cinemas, 23rd January 2021.

In addition to the new release date, studio Khara has released a new trailer as well as a mobile app called EVA EXTRA for android and iOS devices. At Tokyo Game Show 2020, executive producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi, announced Resident Evil: Infinite Darknessis which will be a CGI episodic series coming to Netflix in 2021.

Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness will be based around the stories of Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield, and “adds suspense into dynamic action scenes” to “reveal a Resident Evil world unlike anything seen before.”

Produced by TMS Entertainment, and animated by 3D animation studio Quebico, which also worked on the 2017 CG movie Resident Evil: Vendetta.

Now that Sword Art Online Alicization – War of Underworld anime has ended, the series has now gone back to it’s roots and announced Sword Art Online Progressive.

This will be TV anime adaptation of the six volume novel series. Sword Art Online: Progressive is a retelling of the events of the Aincrad arc, started nearly a decade after author Reki Kawahara wrote the original web novel.

The time line roughly takes place around episodes 1 through to 3 in the original Sword Art Online anime, it will mostly put the focus on Kirito and Asuna’s and their adventures together in the early parts of the game.

Announced back in May 2020, the popular fantasy adventure manga/anime series Inuyasha will be getting a sequel titled Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon.

The daughters of Sesshomaru and Inuyasha set out on a journey transcending time!

In Feudal Japan, Half-Demon twins Towa and Setsuna are separated from each other during a forest fire. While desperately searching for her younger sister, Towa wanders into a mysterious tunnel that sends her into present-day Japan, where she is found and raised by Kagome Higurashi’s brother, Sota, and his family.

Ten years later, the tunnel that connects the two eras has reopened, allowing Towa to be reunited with Setsuna, who is now a Demon Slayer working for Kohaku. But to Towa’s shock, Setsuna appears to have lost all memories of her older sister.

Joined by Moroha, the daughter of Inuyasha and Kagome, the three young women travel between the two eras on an adventure to regain their missing past.
