The isekai genre seems to be kicking it up another notch into the ridiculous with upcoming anime That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime (Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken) which is scheduled for airing in October, 2018. The story is based on a light novel about a 37 year old man who dies but returns to life in a fantasy land as a slime with strange abilities!
Hoshiai no Sora (Star Crossing Skies) will not make it’s TV debut until 2019 but you can already get a little taste of this upcoming anime!
The story is about a failing high school tennis club. Tōma Shinjō wants Maki Katsuragi to join the team for his skill but he will only join if paid!
Sega’s mobile puzzle game PuyoPuyo Quest is teaming up with Evangelion!
Evangelion characters can be purchased to use in the game from the special collaboration website.
Currently the game is only available in Japanese for iOS, Android, Amazon and PC.
In addition there will also be Eva x PuyoPuyo limited edition goods from Eva Custom.
The second Persona Q game for 3DS is set to come out in Japan this November. A new trailer was released on the official youtube channel. This new game will feature the cast from Persona 5 in addition to the characters from Persona 4 and Persona 3.
A second trailer was released this week as well, showing some cute animation sequences of the Phantom Thieves from Persona 5.
It’s nearly time again for Melbourne’s Animaga convention, happening this weekend at the Royal Exhibition Building.
